‘Birch Commercial Furnishings’ is a small, privately owned business that offers an intimate and personalised service in bespoke soft furnishings for commercial use. It was established by its owner and manager, James Birch in 2007, when its first order was to fit two blinds in a small village school. Since then, the company has grown steadily in reputation and capabilities, fitting hospitals, universities, schools and offices throughout the country.

James’ career in commercial furnishings began in 2001 when he joined a highly successful firm of blinds and curtain manufacturers. Here, he gained a strong knowledge and experience in the business, giving him the aspiration to found his own company with the belief that he could provide clients with a professional, reputable and transparent service, while at the same time maintaining an accessible budget for his clients.

With more than fifty years of combined experience, the company’s specialised team of talented professionals is passionate about their work, and more importantly for the service they provide their loyal customers. From curtain makers to project managers, each one shows a level of commitment, dedication and personal care for the job at hand, second to none.
